One of the most important things when searching out a new online business is making sure that it a company you can stand behind. It’s critical that the company stands behind their mission statement! I want to make sure that the company always stands by who and what they say they are.
When your looking to join any MLM / home-base business opportunity Your going to want to do as much research as possible.
Once you have decided on the opportunity that is the right fit for you, I suggest researching them at least once a month. The reason for this is that companies are always evolving. Things change. Sometimes the people within the company management are not always who they say they are or the company may begin to change policies or products that I may not agree with.
If you find that the company your associated with no longer has the integrity of its mission and values, it’s time to move on.
One of the most important things for me is my personal reputation. The people you work with, whether it is your customer you have worked so hard to help, or a team member that you have stood with, deserve the respect and satisfaction of knowing that I am looking out for everyone!
If I was to explain why I decided that a certain opportunity was no longer the right choice, I believe that your team of associates and customers will stand with you and support your decisions. I have learned that people will follow someone who has high standards and success. People want to know that they can trust you over anything else!
How Do You Check Up On A Company?
1.) Always do a Google search on the company.
It’s significant to know as much as possible about where the company came from and where they are headed. I think it is very important to read many different points of view of what people are saying and why they are saying it. I understand that there are some people that have had really bad experiences with MLM’s and will just go out and bash any company. These opinions need to be taken lightly and not factored into my overall decision. My goal is to find the good and bad reviews so I can make my own decision.
2.) Visit www.behindmlm.com
I love using this site to research the business opportunity I am looking to join. The biggest reason why I love using this site is because he fully vets the story and publishes links to his research as proof of the facts surrounding what he is writing about. You can tell that he truly wants you to have the best information about whatever company you are looking at joining. I have read some of his articles about companies that I know very well, and I can say that he never deviated from the truth. I will not join any opportunity again without first looking for them using this site!
3.) Find people already in the business
I like to reach out to a variety of people that are already involved with the opportunity. I do a search for people associated with the company I am looking at doing the business with so that I can have an understanding of what it is really like as a member of this company. I have found this to be one of the truest ways to decide for myself if this is going to be the right fit for me. You really get a feeling as to whether or not people are excited and proud to be representing their company
4.) Research the CEO of the company
It’s important to know as much as I can about the person who is leading the company and their vision. Using www.linkedin.com is a great way to see how someone is representing themselves on social media and to see what they have listed as their employment history.
