How To Push Beyond Excuses

How to push beyond excuses is something I think we all think about when it come to our business or our personal life. In this blog I am going to share with you some ideas that have helped me through the excuses in my business.

First thing is to accept that you are going to make excuses for not getting somethings done. It does matter if it works around the house or if it has to do with working from home. We all have moments when we decide that an excuse is better than doing what we were going to do. One of the things I have learned is to forgive yourself and get back on track as quick as possible. Sometime all you need to do is say OK back to work. Other times you might need more of a reason to get back to it.

Find Your Why!

Everyone has a reason why they want to get something done! As an entrepreneur it is very important that you have a strong reason why!

Your reason has to be something so strong that you will do whatever it takes to push through the tough days. Remember that every reason is different for each person. What might be super important to one person may not be to another.

How To Push Through Excuses.

1: Tell People Your Plans: The more people that know what your plans are the more likely you are going to make sure to get them done. The last thing anyone wants is to fail in front of others.

2: Write Down Your Goals: One of things I have learned that has really helped me is to write down your goals on a piece of paper and put it in your back pocket. As you finish each goal go ahead and scratch it out. There is no better feeling them to physically scratch something of your list!

3: Set Goals Of All Sizes: Take the time to set your goals in different sizes. Sometimes setting one big goal can feel over whelming! Make sure to set goals that you can work towards. Once you have hit a goal make sure to reward yourself! It important to take the time to celebrate your hard work!

4: Find An Accountability Partner: As your building your business you’re going to find people that have the same kind of desire to change their lives. These are the people you want to have around you. Find someone that needs your help to keep them focused. In return, they will help you!

All Excuses Are Created Equal

One of the greatest quotes I have ever learned is that “all excuses are created equal” What that means to me is that you can either created excuses or you can make money. You can’t do both!

As soon as I understood that my business really changed! I was in control of my future not anyone else!

I had all the reasons to succeed or fail. The choice was really up to me. So I decided that I was going to stop making excuses and start going after my dreams!
