How Do You Motivate Your Team?

Welcome to my blog! You are here because you want to learn how to motivate your team and help them reach their goals. I am going to share with you a few things I have learned over the last 13 years’ work from home and building teams in different businesses.

Number 1. Lead By Example

Show your team how to be successful! If you want them to hit certain goals than you need to show them how you do it as well. Make sure you are hitting the goals every month! This way your team will be inspired to do what you. Once you know how to hit a certain goal challenge yourself to double it! That way your team knows that they can hit the team goal every month! You will inspire more people by doing it than by say to do it!

My mentor use to say to me “Leaders lead by example!”

Number 2. Set Team Goals

At the beginning of every month set out a goal for the team! It is important that they know where you want them to be by the end of each month. Ask people who is going to hit each goal! Who wants to step up and go after the big goals? Some of your team will go after little goals and that alright! When they see that they can hit those goals they will be inspired to go after bigger ones. Make sure to have a team meeting around the middle of the month so everyone can see where they are at and how much more everyone has to do in order to hit the team goal.

Number 3 Find Your Leaders

When you set goal with your team your going to find that there are people that are going to want to step up and do more. These are people that want to go after their dreams a little more than the other team members. They are ready to go faster and harder.

These are the people you are going to want to stick close to and help to push them. They want you to be there are and help push them so that they can achieve their big goals. They can see the big picture and are ready to go after it all!

Number 4 Celebrate Your Team Members

Make sure that you publicly celebrate your team members. Anything from their first sale to their first new team member. Everyone wants to feel like they are succeeding in their business! Your team wants to feel like they belong to something special!

Number 5 Share Your Plan

It does not matter if your brand new to your business or if you have been doing it for years! Always show your new team members what you’re doing. Remember even if your new to the business, you know more about it than the new team member you have just brought in. If you are ever asked a question, you don’t know don’t be afraid to say to the person asking it. That’s a great question! Let me ask my coach and I will get back to you! It shows people that you want to learn the answers as well!
